The niche in onyx stone is particularly suitable for the use of backlighting. The light is mounted behind the slabs by exploiting the translucent properties of these materials to generate light and shadow effects with a strong aesthetic impact.
The material characteristics of these stones mean that the illuminated onyx takes on a decidedly more interesting appearance. In fact, the light crosses the surface of the slab highlighting the typical bands and veins.
